NYE Makeup Look!

Hello peanuts! I hope that you all had a fabulous and fun NYE! I kept quiet this year, just hung out with some family and close friends. However, my makeup was anything but quiet! I inserted a photo to show my makeup from the night. (I apologize for the terrible quality, silly iPhone!)

The look was created using almost entirely LORAC products. Below you will find a full product list as well as a description for recreating the look. Good luck and enjoy!

For the face:

  • LORAC POREfection Mattifying Face Primer
  • Makeup Forever HD Foundation in N125
  • MAC Studio Finish Concealer in NW25
  • Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in 001 Translucent
For the eyes:
  • LORAC Behind The Scenes Eye Primer
*(all eye shadows from LORAC PRO pallet)
  • Cream (matte), Slate (shimmer), Black (matte), Light Bronze (shimmer), Gold (shimmer)
  • MAC Blacktrack Fluidline
  • LORAC PRO Mascara in Black
For the brows:
  • Espresso (matte) from LORAC PRO pallet
For the cheeks:
  • LORAC PRO Powder Cheek Stain in Rosy Glow
  • Benefit Sunbeam Highlighter
For the lips:
  • MAC Angel lipstick
  • LORAC Lip Lustre Gloss in Peach Lustre
To achieve the look I started by priming the face with LORAC POREfection Mattifying Face Primer, making sure to focus on the T-Zone of the face. Taking a buffing brush I worked in the Makeup Forever HD Foundation in N125 all over the face, jaw, and neck area. Taking my MAC Studio Finish Concealer in NW25 I concealed any blemishes and under eye circles, (I had to go back later and retouch under the eyes from shadow fallout).

Moving onto the eyes; I primed with LORAC Behind The Scenes Eye Primer, taking extra note to prime under the eye, too. Taking a MAC 239 brush I swept Cream all over the lid, not passing above my natural crease. Next taking Slate on a shading brush I dabbed the color on the outer corner of the eye, forming a sideways "v" shape with the color. Taking a MAC 217 blending brush I blended out the "v" shaped to soften and smoke the look. Next, using the same shading brush as with Slate, I took Black and focused on darkening the outer corner of the eye. Taking Light Bronze, I dusted the inner part of the lid. Then I told Gold and dabbed it in the inner corner and inner under corner of the eye to brighten. Taking an angle brush I took slate and lined the outer half of the bottom lash line.

Lastly, I used a thin line of MAC Blacktrack Fluidline on the waterline and upper lid. I finished the look with two thick coatings of LORAC PRO Mascara in Black on the top and bottom lashes. (You could apply falsies, but I was quite happy with the look the way it was.)

I shaped my brows using Espresso from the pallet. I then used a stippling brush to lightly apply LORAC PRO Powder Cheek Stain in Rosy Glow to the cheeks. Taking Benefit Sunbeam Highlighter I applied it to the cupids bow and cheekbones to bring more light to the face.

For the lips I lightly dabbed MAC's Angel and finished with LORAC's Lustre Glass in Peach Lustre.

I set all my makeup with the Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder and a powder brush.

That's it for the look, little peanuts! I hope that this helped you if you want to recreate the look! Don't forget to tweet or Instagram me pictures at @SarahEBarah for me to see!

Talk soon,

Sarah x
